Volunteers Serving Food

Loaves and Fishes

Learning to Give Back

St. Andrew’s supports the Loaves and Fishes program to feed the homeless in downtown Sacramento. In addition to yearly monetary support, the St. Andrew’s community helps serve on the 4th Saturday of each month. Sometimes we prepare the food, sometimes we serve it, and sometimes we do clean up. Check the church bulletin for carpool times from the church or call the church office.

Pioneer School

Learning to Give Back

In 2013, St. Andrews adopted a local school in the neighborhood.  Pioneer School is a member of the Twin Rivers School District.  The school is in the Foothill Farms community.  Many of its students come from families that are impoverished.  The students, teachers and administrators struggle on a daily basis to maintain a productive learning environment with very little resources.  St. Andrews agreed to help provide school supplies to all the teachers and students.  The school has expressed sincere gratitude for the generosity shown by St. Andrews' congregation.

If you would like to donate supplies or money, just email our church at standrewsumc@gmail.com.
