Ann was commissioned toward her Deacon's Orders at the 2008 Annual Conference. After two or three years of service she will be ordained a Deacon. A Deacon is ordained to Word and Service. (An Elder is ordained to Word, Sacrament, Order, and Service.) Thanks to a generous donation, St. Andrew's is considering hiring Ann as our associate pastor. We are also seeking to support this position next year through pledges. Please consider making this a priority in your giving for 2009.
